A Board Built for the Long Term
We are pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the Performance Watcher board of directors. The board is presided over by Nicholas Hochstädter, founder of Performance Watcher. Alongside Jacques Grivel, who has been part of the board since the early days of the platform, Cédric Anker, Jan Poulie, and Catherine Herbez now bring their expertise to the governance of Performance Watcher.
Each member was chosen for their alignment with what this platform stands for: transparency, a long-term perspective, and a genuine commitment to the people whose assets are being measured.
Why Now: A Message From the Founder
For a long time, my energy went into building the product — making it real, rigorous, and reliable. Today, I can rely on a very strong team, and Performance Watcher has become a mature product, ready to grow. This is the right moment to reinforce the governance with people who share the same values and understand where we want to go. This board will help Performance Watcher stay true to its vision, make the right long-term choices, and grow the community around it.
Nicholas Hochstädter, President of the Board and founder of Performance Watcher
The Board of Directors
Jacques Grivel — Institutional Knowledge and Long-Term Vision
Jacques Grivel has been part of the Performance Watcher board since the beginning. He was there when the platform was still finding its shape, and his continued presence is part of what brought us to where we are today.
As founder of Fundo — a firm specialising in equity risk management for Swiss and international pension funds, with a strong emphasis on data-driven portfolio solutions — Jacques has spent his career at the intersection of institutional investment and Swiss wealth management. His deep sector values and institutional knowledge have been a guiding reference throughout the PW journey.
Cédric Anker — Private Banking and Business Development
A significant share of the portfolios on the platform belong to private banking clients. Having someone who understands that world from the inside was a priority for the board.
Cédric Anker has spent his career at the heart of Swiss private banking, holding senior roles at institutions including Credit Suisse, Vontobel, Mirabaud and Bordier. He currently continues his journey as CEO of AllSwiss and founding partner of SPARK Partners. His appointment gives the board direct expertise in the environment where Performance Watcher’s value is most acutely felt — and the business development experience to help grow within it.
Jan Poulie — Foundation Governance and the Beneficiary Perspective
Performance Watcher is built in the interest of the end beneficiary — the individual whose savings or assets are being managed. That perspective deserves a voice at the governance level.
Jan Poulie is co-founder of Foundation Theodora, which has supported Performance Watcher since its early days. His experience leading an organisation that acts in the interest of others — rather than managing assets directly — makes him a natural fit for what the board needed.
Catherine Herbez — Financial Strategy and Oversight
Financial independence does not happen by itself. It requires deliberate choices about how a company allocates its resources.
Catherine Herbez has worked closely with Performance Watcher for several years. Her formal appointment to the board brings structured financial oversight to the governance, ensuring that how we manage our finances serves the long-term mission.
Five Perspectives, One Direction
The board now brings together the institutional world through Jacques Grivel’s long-standing sector knowledge; private banking through Cédric Anker’s deep industry expertise; the foundation and beneficiary perspective through Jan Poulie’s work at Foundation Theodora; financial oversight through Catherine Herbez; and the founder’s vision, which remains at the centre.
Different backgrounds. The same long-term commitment to building something that serves the people who depend on it.
