Nicholas Hochstadter
Before founding IBO in 2005, Nicholas Hochstadter worked as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse. He then joined Ferrier Lullin & Cie as head of discretionary portfolio management. At Credit Suisse, he led the PMnet project to design and implement a fully automated system
for portfolio management. Nicholas Hochstadter is a graduate of the Ecole de Management et de Communication in Geneva.

Eric Bissonnier joined IBO in June 2022 as CEO. Eric's investment experience stretches to 1992 for Chase Manhattan Private Bank in Geneva and New York. In 1998 he joined the well-known alternative multi-manager firm EIM and became CIO in 2002. He remained in the role with Gottex and LumX Asset Management, successor companies of EIM, until 2019. He was instrumental in developing LumRisk, a risk management Fintech spinoff of EIM. He also developed an investment methodology using NLP reading of patents to identify global decarbonisation leaders, using Python, SQL and big data. Eric is a CFA Charterholder and an active member of the Swiss CFA Society and holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Geneva.

Florian Marguier joined IBO in 2015 as Head of the IT department to pilot the various projects of the company. For the past 10 years, Florian worked as developer and production manager on various projects related to website development and Internet applications at both Iomedia Limited and Virtua SA. Responsible for both the analysis, maintenance and development, Florian worked for prestigious customers including Alinghi, Breitling, CIO, America’s Cup, Nespresso, Edipresse and the Swatch Group. He holds a Master's degree in IT Engineering, Distributed Systems and Multimedia.

Aleandro Eccel
Aleandro Eccel joined IBO as a Data Scientist and Contact for the Client Support in 2024. Prior to this, he completed an internship as a software developer at MeteoSwiss in Ticino, acquiring solid skills in software development and project management. Passionate about new technologies and AI, he holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the Ecole Polytechnique et fédérale de Lausanne since 2023.

He has over 15 years’ experience in the Full-Stack design and development of web applications and has worked especially for Virtua SA and ELCA Informatique SA companies. Before becoming a partner at IBO, Marc Lussy worked as a trader and in wealth management for more than a decade. He was subsequently in charge of large-scale change-management and IT projects at different banks. He then became an independent adviser on banking and digitization. A fintech afficionado from day one, Marc enjoys sharing his insights as a blogger. He is also a guest lecturer on banking, leadership & digitization at various universities and regularly contributes articles to leading Swiss financial publications. Marc is a trained financial planner with a degree in leadership and management.

Isabelle began her career at JP Morgan in 1998 where she acquired expertise in government bonds and equity derivatives as a proprietary trader. Over her 25-year career, she has worked for several financial institutions in New York, London, Paris, and Geneva. Most recently, in 2018, she co-founded Green Blue Invest SA, an ESG investments business that was subsequently sold to a bank in 2023. Isabelle is a CAIA charter holder, a CFA ESG certified specialist, and has a diploma in Corporate Governance (Financial Times/EY). She obtained a Masters’ degrees in Econometrics from the La Sorbonne University and the University of Amsterdam. She also holds a post-graduate degree in International Finance from HEC business school in Paris.

She has an extensive wealth & estate planning career, earning a solid reputation for her work on international trust & foundation. Her experience includes managing complex & sophisticated trust and corporate structures for private and corporate clients located around the globe, including Latin America and Asia but more specifically in the Middle east. Cecile is chairing the Wealth Management & Estate Planning focus Group of XLNC, she is also an active member of several significant professional bodies including The International Bar Association (IBA) and The International Tax Planning Association (ITPA). He then accepted the position of CTO within the Mirabaud & Cie S. A. Group from 1997 to 2010, before taking over as Group Chief Information Officer from 2011 to 2016. he wrote and implemented numerous Front, Middle and Back-End banking systems, as well as the necessary digital solutions for portfolio management and customer contact. He has opened banking institutions in England, Spain, France, Luxembourg and the United Arab Emirates. SBS has also built a reputation for optimizing the management of financial and tax information.

Convinced that technology and data are the future of finance, he has developed a machine learning solution Cortex that manages and advises institutional assets.
